With the 2026 municipal elections approaching, the contemporary music sector wants to bring its needs and proposals to the attention of future local decision-makers.
The municipal bloc plays a key role in the organization and financing of musical structures in the regions. However, in recent years there has been an increase in attacks on freedom of creation and expression and a decline in public funding.
What are the issues at stake in these elections? How can we mobilize the contemporary music sector and ensure a framework for creation, artistic and cultural education in all municipalities? This is what we will be discussing with our various speakers.
