ARTE launches its competition for female directors of live recordings!
Almost all the directors who produce ARTE Concert live recordings every year are men. With this in mind, ARTE has decided to help women aspiring to become directors of live concert recordings by setting up the first competition dedicated to the production of live concert recordings, the first edition of which will be held on May 17, 2025 at the Gaîté Lyrique.
The competition is intended as a springboard for women already working in the audiovisual sector, helping them to break out of the roles of assistant director, cameraman or script girl in which they are sometimes confined, without being offered the possibility of becoming a director.
This conference, organized to coincide with the opening of the call for applications, will give you the opportunity to find out more about this unique initiative, and to ask the organizers any questions you may have.
