MaMA renews its concept of a unique event in France, taking place over three days and nights in the 18th and 9th arrondissements of Paris. From Wednesday October 16 to Friday October 18, MaMA will offer conferences, meetings dedicated to professionals and concerts open to a wide audience in the Pigalle and Montmartre district. For three days, the heart of Pigalle and Montmartre will be beating to the rhythm of MaMA, which will take over a number of concert halls and other atypical venues to welcome the general public and professionals from the French and international music industries.
The days are reserved for professionals (more than 7,000 accredited attendees, representing 52 countries, were present at the 2023 event), with conferences, debates, workshops, speed-meetings, keynotes, and numerous networking activities to enable them to meet and develop collaborations.
MaMA has carefully curated a series of talks and debates which are designed to encourage participants to think, reflect and exchange ideas. We’ll be covering numerous themes and the latest news, touching upon social issues and technological trends.
One or more speaker(s) will present a specific topic related to an issue affecting the industry.
MaMAs partners will host various discussions designed to foster the exchange of ideas and opinions.
Collaborative work sessions in small groups designed to encourage the exchange of ideas on shared issues.
Concerts are open to both industry professionals and the general public. Over three nights, Pigalle will transform into an urban musical trail where over a dozen different venues play host to 180 concerts and showcases of French and international artists. Organised in collaboration with different music industry partners, MaMA’s line-up is designed for both industry professionals and the general public. Our aim is to stimulate the former’s curiosity, by offering a carefully-curated line-up of exciting emerging talent; while wetting gig-goers’ appetites by offering them the opportunity to see both established acts and up-and-coming names.
(from 7pm – pros & general public): A line-up of French and international acts, featuring more than 150 concerts organised in collaboration with different music industry partners, held across over a dozen different venues.
(pros only): MaMA has developed a series of showcases designed to introduce new artists to concert producers, artist managers and promoters.
(pros only): Every day, Les Trois Baudets concert venue will play host to a series of 15-minute shows designed to showcase and export new French talent.
