Daphnée Denis is an award-winning journalist and filmmaker who has worked between Latin America, the United States and Europe. She specializes in new visual writing for web distribution. French of Colombian origin, she is trilingual in French, English and Spanish, and has worked in all three languages throughout her career. A former JRI deployed in Latin America for AFP, she also headed the video and photo team of the Spanish newspaper EL PAIS in Latin America from Mexico, and headed the international editorial teams of Brut (USA and Mexico), launching a multi-prime team of short documentaries. She also contributes to the English-language magazines Kinfolk and Monocle.
