Bruno Boutleux started out in 1986 as a concert producer with Turbulences promotions. He went on to join the staff of the Rock Information Center (CIR), where he was manager of FAIR, the Fund for Initiatives and Action for Rock. Under his leadership, in 1993 the CIR became IRMA, merging information centers for folk music, jazz, and rock in a single structure. In 1995, he was named to the head of the Fund for Musical Creation (FCM). Beginning in 2002, Bruno Boutleux became managing director of Jeunesses Musicales de France (Music for Young People). He joined Adami in September, 2008 as CEO until jan 2024. Since 2017, he has been President of the Book, Cinema and Audiovisual Agency in Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ALCA), an economic development agency founded by the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.
