Bruno Boutleux began his professional career as an entertainment entrepreneur with Turbulences from 1986 to 1989. He then joined the team at the Centre d'information du rock et des variétés (CIR), where he managed the Fonds d'action et d'initiative pour le rock (FAIR). In 1993, under his leadership, CIR became IRMA, bringing together the traditional music, jazz and rock information centers into a single structure. In 1995, he was appointed director of the Fonds pour la création musicale (FCM). In 2002, Bruno Boutleux became General Manager of Jeunesses musicales de France (JMF). He joined Adami in September 2008 as Managing Director until January 2024. Since 2017, he has been Chairman of the Agence livre, cinéma et audiovisuel en Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ALCA) an economic development agency founded by the New Aquitaine region. Bruno Boutleux is a member of the Fondation Adami de l'artiste citoyen.
