Bruno Boutleux began his professional career as an entertainment entrepreneur from 1986 to 1989 with the company Turbulences. He then joined the team of the Centre d'information du rock et des variétés (CIR) where he directed the Fonds d'action et d'initiative pour le rock (FAIR). In 1993, under his leadership, the CIR became the IRMA, bringing together the Information Centres for Traditional Music, Jazz and Rock in a single structure. In 1995, he was appointed Director of the Fonds pour la création musicale (FCM). Since 2002, Bruno Boutleux has been Director General of the Jeunesses musicales de France (JMF). He joined Adami in September 2008 as Managing Director. Since 2017, he has been President of the Agence livre, cinéma et audiovisuel en Nouvelle-Aquitaine (ALCA), an economic development agency founded by the Nouvelle Aquitaine region.
