Benoît Carré is a pioneering figure in the field of AI-powered music creation. Since 2015, he has collaborated with research teams to develop AI tools for music creation, contributing his expertise to projects with Sony CSL and Soundtrap CTRL. In 2018, Carré released the first AI-composed pop album, Hello World (12 million streams). Since then, he has continued to explore music creation with AI, releasing several more albums and EPs. His innovative work with AI has received rave reviews from music media, including BBC Music, Quartz, Crack Magazine, The Quietus, Music Ally, Les Jours, Nova, and France Culture.
In addition to his musical endeavors, Carré was appointed by the French Ministry of Culture as one of five experts to sit on the Strategic Council for Artificial Intelligence, which was initiated by the Prime Minister.
