Terry Tyldesley is an artist, producer and music technology consultant committed to ethical technology.
Described by Loud Women as a "techno-goth genius", she offers glitchy alternative pop under the name Kat Five, and also forms one half of the electro duo Feral Five. Their critically acclaimed, AI-infused album Truth Is The New Gold explores notions of truth and trust. It has received airplay on BBC 6 Music, Radio X and many other outlets, and was named one of Louder Than War's Albums of the Year. Terry speaks regularly on the subjects of artificial intelligence and music, notably on BBC TV. She is the founder of Kitmonsters, a website dedicated to music and inclusive technologies, and tests new music tools, including those using AI. Former president of the ethical music streaming cooperative Resonate, she was a mentor in the JUMP EU Music Market Accelerator, produced and organized the Music Tech Fest in Berlin, and developed hackathons around ethical technologies for the cooperative movement in the UK. |
