After several years as administrator of a puppet theater company, Stéphane Krasniewski joined the SUDS team in ARLES in 2004, first as administrator, then as co-programmer alongside Marie José Justamond, the festival's founder. He becomes the festival's director in January 2019. President of Zone Franche, the world music network, from 2018 to 2022, he is also vice-president of the Syndicat des Musiques Actuelles.
