Oriane LACAILLE

Singer, percussionist, author, composer, Oriane Lacaille embodies a musical universe steeped in the blending of great voyages. Her father René Lacaille, one of the key figures in Reunion music, took her on stage with him at the age of 13. She accompanied her father for 15 years and participated with him, among others, in the recording of his albums Cordéon Kaméléon (2009 - Grand prix de l'Académie Charles Cros) and Gatir (2015). In 2006, she founded with Coline Linder the female duo Titi Zaro. Between French-songs and blues from Réunion Island, this duo seduces thanks to an innovative color at the time. They released two albums Poème de Zoréol (2013) and L'Hymne des louves (2020). A collaboration took place with Saodaj named 'Femmes Fanm' carried by Oriane on the island of Réunion. Between 2011 and 2023, she was one of the performers of the show "O Brigitte", alongside Loïc Lantoine and Brigitte Fontaine; and also of La Tribu des Femmes with the group Lo'Jo. In 2016, she created with JereM Boucris the duo Bonbon Vodou which released its first album African Discount in 2017. They've been playing their touching and unifying show on many stages in France, Europe, Africa and Canada. Their second album Cimetière Créole (2021) is among the 10 albums nominated for the Prix Joséphine. Their third album Épopée Métèque will be released in November 2025, with guests such as Bernard Lavilliers and Rosemary Standley. In 2022, with Piers Faccini, she released an EP for the "Hear my voice" collection on the Beating Drum label. This EP launched her new line-up, Oriane Lacaille (trio). Oriane Lacaille's first solo album, iViV, was released in 2023. It was nominated at the Victoires du Jazz in the World Music category.
