Mérou Dieng is one of the key figures driving the structuring and modernization of the music industry in West Africa. Based in Senegal, he currently serves as Label Country Manager for Believe, where he oversees distribution and artist support activities across several territories: Senegal, The Gambia, Guinea and, occasionally, Côte d'Ivoire.
Through his expertise, he has helped make Believe an essential distributor in Senegal, building strong partnerships with some of the country's biggest music stars. Visionary and passionate, he is committed to showcasing local talent while positioning artists within an international dynamic.
Beyond his role at Believe, Mérou is also a producer and cultural entrepreneur. As co-director of the label Hoside, he supports emerging talents and co-produces VJ, one of the most promising artists of the new generation. His dual role as manager and producer gives him a 360° understanding of artists' needs, combining creative development, digital strategy, and career structuring.
With several years of experience, he has established himself as a key interlocutor between artists, labels, and platforms. Mérou is recognized for his ability to combine strategic vision, close relationships with artists, and a deep understanding of digital challenges. He is also a member of AMC's Professional Council.
