Maka TRAORÉ

After several years working in events and culture in France, Maka Traoré is now Head of Music and Performing Arts at the Institut français in Dakar. She curates a multidisciplinary program (music, theatre, dance, circus, comedy) and supports emerging talent through initiatives such as the Music Lab. Committed to strengthening cultural industries and fostering artist mobility, she builds bridges between local and international stages. Her ambition: to position cultural and creative industries as a driving force for pan-African cooperation and global visibility.
