Cameroonian DJ and artistic director, Jeune Lio, is one of the forces
behind Abidjan's La Sunday parties, which went from 50 to over 10,000
people attending in less than a year, culminating in a massive 2 stage
festival in December 2019, featuring over 30 DJs from across Africa
and Europe.
Born in Cameroon and based successively in Paris, Dakar and now
Abidjan, Jeune Lio is an artistic director, party promoter, A&R and DJ.
An advertising professional, he launched into the world of DJing out of
passion. He couldn't imagine making a job out of it. It was his arrival in
Abidjan that definitely made him take the plunge and make him a full
time DJ. He dj-ed in Cameroon, Senegal, France, Ghana, Kenya and of
course in Ivory Coast
In 2020, Jeune Lio launched his own music label, Monda.life, a music
agency and music label. Establishing his take on current African music.
With Monda, he produces the artist DIANE DDD, whose EP "Just a
Sunday" released in February 2021, has made more than 100,000
streams across all platforms.
In 2021 he released his first EP "A NIGHT IN COCODY", who has
made more Than 4,000,000 Streams across all platforms.
In 2022, he start working for SONY MUSIC Francophone Africa as an
A&R. Since 2024 he created his music label MONDA LIFE.
