Specializing in international exchanges, Fernando Ladeiro Marques has been behind numerous international music events as a producer, co-producer, founder, or co-founder (Dublin, Barcelona, Bratislava, Lisbon, Prague, Budapest, Beijing, São Paulo, etc.).
He is the co-creator and managing director of MaMA Music & Convention, launched in Paris in 2010. MaMA is a cross-sector platform and a must-attend event for professionals in the music industry, both nationally and internationally.
With his Paris-based production company, Gato Loco Productions, Fernando has focused for many years on exporting European music and has established a vast network of professionals in more than 30 countries. Thanks to the productions, co-productions, and programs managed by Gato Loco Productions, more than 800 French and European artists have had the opportunity to perform at major events in nearly 30 countries. This experience has enabled Gato Loco Productions to acquire in-depth knowledge of the international market and the specificities of each region.
Fernando Ladeiro Marques is also co-director and co-creator of MIL (Lisbon International Music Network), a festival and convention founded in 2017, which has become the main platform for exchanges between Portuguese-speaking countries and the rest of the world. Located in the heart of Lisbon, MIL offers numerous activities for professionals, such as conferences, debates, workshops, and speed meetings, as well as multiple concerts.
