Cyril Tomas-Cimmino is the founder and CEO of Bi:Pole, an artists' agency established in 2008 that handles tour production and booking. Supporting artistic development in its entirety-combining creation, distribution, publishing, and management-the agency works to promote emerging talent, diversity, and the breaking down of barriers in innovative music scenes. Around a thousand artistic performances are scheduled each year. Cyril directed and produced the Télérama Dub Festival, which he successfully brought to Bogotá. Since then, he has founded several events, including Festival Le Bon Air, held at La Friche la Belle de Mai in Marseille, where he is both a shareholder and a board member. The offices of Bi:Pole and its permanent teams are also based there, alongside the label Gros:Œuvre and the agency Savon Noire, both of which he also founded.
In 2020, he acquired an estate in the northern districts of Marseille, which he transformed into a residency space called Les Petits Champs, where culture, agroecology, and responsible tourism are interwoven.
Deeply committed to a sustainable and clear-eyed cultural transition, he is involved in numerous projects serving the public good. He designs and coordinates several initiatives promoting mutual aid, such as the Ex Æquo training programs, the Compagnie Guides, and the Rider.e cooperation, all of which aim to combat all forms of discrimination within the cultural sector.
