Cristian Vera is a musician specializing in traditional Colombian music and a committed player in international cultural exchanges. For over ten years, he has been developing artistic and social projects with a strong territorial impact.
From 2014 to 2017, he was involved in the Colombian government's social inclusion program "CLAN - Centres Locaux Artistiques pour les Enfants et les Jeunes" (Local Artistic Centers for Children and Youth), supported by the Bogotá Arts Institute, as a designer, animator and facilitator of cultural projects.
From 2017 to 2019, he founded and coordinated the "Sounds, Colors and Flavors of Colombia" exchange program, based in the Savoie region (France). This program has helped to promote Colombian cultures internationally, building lasting bridges between artists, institutions, the public and local communities.
At the same time, he actively promotes the circulation of emerging and contemporary Latin and African music between Latin America, Europe and Africa, as a booking agent, manager and tour producer. He supports artists in their international development, with a particular focus on cooperation and cultural diversity.
He is currently in charge of the export office and booking agent at the Paris-based Hélico Music agency.
