Union Nationale des Auteurs et Compositeurs, is a French association under the 1901 law founded in 1959 by Hector Rawson, for the defense and protection of the rights of authors and composers.
At the European level, UNAC is a member of the ECSA (European Composers and Songwriters Alliance) within the APCOE committee (Alliance of Popular Composer Organisations in Europe)2; in France it is also a member of the French Coalition for Cultural Diversity.
