Union Nationale des Auteurs et Compositeurs, is a French association under the law of 1901, founded in 1959 by Hector Rawson, to defend and protect the rights of authors and composers.
At the European level, UNAC is a member of ECSA (European Composers and Songwriters Alliance) within the APCOE (Alliance of Popular Composer Organisations in Europe)2 committee; in France, it is also a member of the French Coalition for Cultural Diversity.
