Cerrone, a pioneer of dance music and legendary figure of disco, has enjoyed a career spanning nearly fifty years, selling over 30 million albums and exerting a major influence on electronic music and the French Touch (Daft Punk, Cassius, Bob Sinclar, etc.). His tracks, including the legendary Supernature, have been sampled, remixed and used in numerous films, series and adverts.
In 2024, thanks to the Paris Olympic Games, Supernature enjoyed a spectacular resurgence in popularity after being played during the opening and closing ceremonies, generating millions of streams and becoming one of the most searched-for tracks on Shazam worldwide.
Still active, Cerrone is collaborating with new generations of artists and continues to perform at major international festivals. In 2025, he is preparing two major projects: a biopic documentary broadcast on Canal+ and a new album, Disco Symphony, which will reinterpret his repertoire in a symphonic version, with an exceptional concert planned at the Philharmonie de Paris on 21 February, in conjunction with the Disco - I'm coming out exhibition.
