To celebrate its first anniversary, UMAN is pleased to invite you to a panel discussion at the MaMA Music & Convention.
Launched in October 2024, UMAN was created to bring together artist managers under one representative organization. Until now, no organization had succeeded in rallying this many core figures in the music industry, both in terms of membership and representativeness. During the MaMA Festival, the union will take the floor to reflect on its first year and open a much-needed conversation about the role of managers in the music industry.
This event will reflect on the initiatives led by UMAN over the past eight months, a period of intense commitment that laid the groundwork for a strong, credible, and legitimate collective. Determined to build lasting momentum, UMAN will also take this opportunity to share its vision and roadmap for 2026.
But this gathering is more than a retrospective, it's an open invitation to meet, exchange ideas, and strengthen ties between managers, institutions, and partners. It marks a key step in the affirmation of a profession that is now central to the music industry, yet still too often overlooked. By laying the foundation for a structured and sustainable union, managers are claiming their rightful place in the cultural landscape, one that allows them to advocate for the profession and better defend the interests of the artists they support every day.
