How will festivals fare in 2025? A survey by the Ministry of Culture and the CNM

The ministry of Cultural Affairs and the CNM are renewing their partnership to provide an initial overview of the 2025 festival season at MaMA. This year's focus is on the strategies festivals are adopting in response to the many structural challenges they face. To produce this annual barometer, more than 2,500 festivals in contemporary music, classical music, and comedy have been contacted in 2025, thanks to the support of professional organizations (Ekhoscènes, SMA, France Festivals).
