In 2017, authors' representatives - the National Union of Authors and Composers (SNAC), the Union of Authors and Composers (UNAC), and the Union of Film Music Composers (U2C) - signed an agreement with the Union of Music Publishers (CSDEM) to more precisely define the rights and obligations of each party within the publishing agreement. A new bill currently being tabled in the Senate plans to adopt this code for application to the entire profession.
