The boundaries between experimental and contemporary music are more porous than ever: artists freely draw from both worlds to create unique, hybrid forms in tune with their times. Experimentation and exploratory research are essential to the construction of each artist's musical language. In this demanding process, the National Centers for Musical Creation (CNCM) are partners of choice. They offer valuable support to many emerging artists through their reception spaces, their creation and recording studios. By producing and co-producing shows and festivals, the CNCM play a key role in the dynamics of musical creation, encouraging experimentation and the emergence of new forms of artistic expression.
