Le Chabada is Angers' Scène de Musiques Actuelles, established in 1994. It offers concerts of pop, rap, punk, electro, metal, reggae, funk, chanson, young audiences...
As an SMAC, Le Chabada has four main missions. These are: to present concerts promoting the diversity of today's music and the local scene; to support musical practices, from amateur groups to professional projects; to organize cultural events for and with so-called "outsiders"; and to support local players in the music field. Le Chabada also defends values in all its activities, such as gender equality, eco-responsibility and cultural rights.
