TREAKS refuse to bow down and affirm themselves against all odds. They shook their audience with irony, making them grind their teeth while asking them to let go. A solid drum and bass, incisive texts, a crazy lead... Their frontal post-punk is influenced by Model/Actriz, The Psychotic Monks, IDLES and even CLT DRP. Enough to be carried by the craziness and the saving anger of this trio from Nantes, France. TREAKS return with "Against the Wall". A single that makes you want to bang your head against the wall, following cowbell's beats, the hypnotic bass and guitar, and the heady lead vocal.
TREAKS released their first album on 11th April 2025. Consent, gender questions, family's injunctions, self-affirmation. Those themes, if sometimes dark, give place to light. The three musicians choose to treat these subjects through the prism of irony and endless rage.
