NAYA MÖ, an independent alternative artist from Bordeaux, France, released her debut EP "dealing with ghosts" on February 21, 2025. Following her opening slot for The 1975 in October 2023, NAYA MÖ launched her new project in June 2024 with three singles that showcased her ethereal vocal talent: "haunting me", "lost minds", and "before the darkness comes again" (produced by Daughter's Remi Aguilella).
Her latest singles, "wanderlust" and "outsider", mark a shift toward grittier alternative rock, drawing inspiration from '90s shoegaze, alt-pop, and mid-2000s indie rock. MÖ describes her evolved sound as "Emotional Noise Pop", developed during sessions in Baltimore with producer Bartees Strange. Her influences range from alternative icons like PJ Harvey, Mogwai, and Slowdive to contemporary indie acts such as Fontaines D.C., Blondshell, and Snail Mail.
