Founded in 2016 by singer and guitarist Cyrielle Formaz, MEIMUNA has made its mark as one of the most valuable musical comets on the Swiss and European scene. Playing with musical and language frontiers, she sits at the edges of English-speaking folk and French poetry, exploring a delicate, fragile land of expression that few artists can master with such grace.
With the help of five EP, MEIMUNA has created a universe both delicate and poetically powerful which translates into different live settings: MEIMUNA comes live as a duo, as an intimate female choir with 6 women on stage or as a full-on 13-piece band. Each and every show is met with reverent silence and close attention as tears well up and hearts melt with emotion.
For this tour, MEIMUNA wanted a special additional formula. With the help of friends, she imagined a band that would do justice to the album's organic complexity, rhythmic fullness and many textures. As always, melodies and elegance will be centre stage.
