Born in the summer of 2023, M.A.O. CORMONTREUIL brings together MARIANNE MÉRILLON (BLACK BONES, THE BEWITCHED HANDS), ANTHONIN TERNANT (BLACK BONES, ANGEL, THE BEWITCHED HANDS) and ODILON HORMAN (CHESTER REMINGTON, BLACK BONES). Resolutely pop and danceable, the group from Reims regularly unveils new tracks, illustrated by ANTHONIN. On stage, the trio offers a compact set, a sort of indie house mixtape played live, where tracks follow one another with electro transitions. The tempo climbs throughout the set, rising from 90 to 150 bpm at its climax. On social media, M.A.O. CORMONTREUIL's image and communication are built around a fictitious agency in offices that are just as fictitious, recalling both the DIY spirit with which the band produces its music and the beginnings of M.A.O. in the early 2000s.
