LY, whose real name is Nayl Benamara, is a 20-year-old independent rapper who fell in love with rap after an eloquence contest at university. Immersed in music from a very young age, he sang Aznavour at 3, listened to Bénabar in his mother's car, and discovered Sexion d'Assaut and Diam's at the same time.
LY began writing almost immediately and has continued to perfect his craft throughout his life, ultimately putting his skills to work in rap.
