LUIZA grew up in a family where music and creativity were part of daily life. After classical training at the Conservatory in Rennes, she explored Brazil, Parisian life, and Réunion Island, performing on stages around the world wherever her journey led her. She shared her inspirations with numerous artists, released a dub EP with KHOE WA, and featured on several tracks (FAKEAR, MAHOM, FLAVIA COELHO…).
Her unique and singular voice is the thread running through all the musical patchworks of this EP: sunny cumbia ("Demain demain"), mouth rhythms of baile-funk ("Oxalá"), pop-maloya ("Wadidadu"), cosmic melodies ("La Capitaine," "Fantastik"), tropical R&B ("Tous les jours"), and love-at-first-sight Latin passion ("Chica").
For the past year, LUIZA has been making crowds dance everywhere with her trio on stage. Radio Nova hailed her as one of its "favorites" from the Bars en Trans festival. She has also opened for ZOUFRIS MARACAS, FATOUWATA DIAWARA at the Olympia, and LADANIVA.
