LUIZA grew up in a family where music and creativity were part of everyday life. After classical training at the Conservatoire de Rennes, she explored Brazil, Paris, La Réunion and the world's stages. She shares her inspirations with numerous artists, releasing a dub EP with KHOE WA, and signing several featurings (FAKEAR, MAHOM, FLAVIA COELHO...).
Her unique, singular voice is the pink thread that runs through all the musical patchworks on this EP: sunny cumbia ("Demain demain"), mouth-watering baile-funk rhythm ("Oxalá"), pop-maloya ("Wadidadu"), cosmic chanson ("La Capitaine", "Fantastik"), tropical R&B ("Tous les jours") and Latin love at first sight ("Chica").
For the past year, LUIZA has been getting crowds up and dancing with her live trio. Radio Nova singled her out as one of its "coups de cœur" at Bars en Trans. She has also opened for ZOUFRIS MARACAS, FATOUWATA DIAWARA at the Olympia, and LADANIVA.
