DORDOGNE's music is hard-hitting and stumbling, drawing listeners back and forth between head and leg, through electric sound textures, disconcerting bass lines and singular melodies; a universe that is complex, demanding but accessible.
Dordogne is one of these groups, born of a small musical bug, created by three musicians from French traditional music, who, with a taste for innovation and experimentation wanted to explore these groove and spinning loopholes, delve into math rock and deviate from their own trad'. As the bug expanded, it became a repetitive twelve-string rock, tempted by trance, overtaken by techno, a struggle between acoustic and electric to achieve a more radical, wild and machine-like sound.
