The result: a trip through the musical traditions of Chaâbi, Aïta, Raggada, Amarg, and Gnaoua sounds, reimagined with a futuristic twist, crafted to set dancefloors on fire!
His latest release, « Siba Sawt-System », is the fruit of fifteen years of musical exploration and a return to his roots in his native region.
« Siba » stands for anarchy, « Sawt » for sound, and « System » for the idea of a global sound system: rooted in historical struggles, popular culture, and Moroccan folklore, this protest music fuses the artist’s North African heritage with the sounds of the past and the joy of the present.
