With their unique, spellbinding blend of electronica, saudade and alternative pop with a worldly accent, Ão have quickly established themselves as one of the most exciting bands on Belgium's rich and diverse music scene. Singer Brenda Corijn, who draws on her Mozambican and Portuguese roots, sings in Portuguese and English. Her melodious voice is interwoven with the southern guitar playing of Siebe Chau, the textured electronics of Jolan Decaestecker and the eclectic percussion of Bert Peyffers. On stage, this quartet delivers an immersive, breathtaking experience, captivating audiences across Europe. Their dynamic sound, ranging from delicate, intimate melodies to danceable rhythms, has taken them to many festival stages, whether electronic, rock, world or jazz. At the same time, they are working on their second album, scheduled for release in 2026.
