Vera CRISTIAN

Cristian Vera is a professional musician specialised in traditional Colombian music and a committed participant in international cultural exchanges. For over ten years, he has been developing artistic and social projects with a strong local impact. From 2014 to 2017, he was involved in the Colombian government's social inclusion programme 'CLAN - Local Artistic Centres for Children and Young People', run by the Bogotá Institute of Arts, as a project promoter, facilitator and intervenant. From 2017 to 2019, he founded and coordinated the exchange programme 'Sounds, Colours and Flavours of Colombia', based in the Savoie region (France). This initiative promoted Colombian cultures internationally and built a lasting bridge between institutions, audiences and territories. At the same time, he actively promotes the circulation of emerging and modern Latin and African music between Latin America, Europe and Africa, as a booking agent, manager and tour producer. He supports artists in their international development, with a particular focus on cooperation and cultural diversity. He is currently head of the export office and booking agent at the Paris-based agency Hélico Music.
