Sylvain has been an environmental activist for over 25 years. He has been a professional musician and photographer/filmmaker.

Based in Costa Rica for 16 years, he has launched various reforestation initiatives in the Playa Negra region and is now co-founder of Savage Lands with Dirk Verbeuren (Megadeth drummer).
