Rosa Lois Balle Yahiya has been working in various sectors of the music industry since 2013 and holds a degree in music management from the Copenhagen Conservatory of Rhythmic Music.
Rosa Lois is the founder and head of the secretariat of the award-winning non-profit organization Another Life, which works on representation, mental health and discrimination in Danish music and cultural life. Another Life works on knowledge dissemination, research and community through various projects and formats, including workshops, conferences, presentations, consultations, reports, festivals and the development of applicable knowledge material.
Rosa Lois focuses on minority and women's working conditions, representation, the working environment and discrimination in all her work. Among other things, as a board member of the non-profit organization Public Service, which works on representation in the media industry, as a mentor at SOUND and The Soulfuls and as a member of the advisory board of the Kulturens Analyseinstitut.
