Born in 1987 in Vatomandry, a picturesque town in Madagascar, RAOELINA Noah has forged an exceptional path in the world of cultural management and mediation. His love of music and dedication to the Malagasy arts scene have led him to a number of landmark achievements, leaving an indelible mark on the country's cultural landscape.
Aware of the importance of promoting his country's artistic talents, he has created remarkable initiatives such as the Lamba 1 label, the Dago Festival, Kozy 25'n and many others. These projects have not only shaped the Malagasy cultural scene, but also created new opportunities for local artists.
From an early age, Noah showed a keen interest in art, an interest that turned into a vocation after setting up his first festival in 2009, the Festival Ampefiloha.
A social work student at the time, this daring project sparked an undeniable passion for the Malagasy cultural sector. Deciding to change direction, he abandoned his social work studies to immerse himself in the world of cultural mediation and management.
His talents quickly attracted attention. In his second year, Noah made his mark with the ART MADA 2 project, for which he conducted an in-depth survey of Madagascar's cultural landscape. This hard work and dedication opened new doors, enabling him to be hired by the Centre de Ressources des Arts Actuels de Madagascar (CRAAM) as a production manager.
At CRAAM, Noah spent three productive years, acquiring valuable skills and deepening his understanding of the cultural world. Following this, he was recruited by Is'Art Galerie as Administrator, a position which enabled him to play a key role in the administration and support of one of the capital's most dynamic art spaces.
Always keen to contribute more, Noah has also been involved in a wide range of volunteer activities for various cultural events, from concerts to exhibitions and festivals. These experiences highlighted his skills as a stage manager, a role he fully embraced. Since then, he has been recruited as stage manager for several important structures, including the Alliance Française de Tananarive, Gasy Studio Lab for the TV series Lova, the Fondation H and, most recently
Ony House for the Ony association.
Through his work and achievements, RAOELINA Noah strives to defend and promote Malagasy art and culture. In his relentless quest for innovation, he continues to shine a light on local talent, helping to raise the status of Madagascar's cultural sector.
