Nathalie Birocheau works in the field of digital audio applications and is one of the few female managers in the French music industry. Four years ago, she co-founded and is currently Managing Director of Ircam amplify, the commercial subsidiary of the Institut de recherche et de coordination acoustique et musique (IRCAM), the world-renowned audio laboratory founded in 1977 by Pierre Boulez. While IRCAM focuses on research and innovation, Ircam amplify strives to put the best of research and sound creation at the service of markets and new uses.
