Co-founder of STATION BEIRUT and director of its Lebanese venue and international projects, Nabil is also producer and artistic director of Shuruq Music.
Station Beirut was launched in 2013 to channel a vision of the arts for social transformation. The Beirut venue presents the next generation of artists from the Swana region, with a focus on the performing arts. From early Pride events to pioneering exhibitions like Yalla Dada, Station seeks to inspire critical thinking, civic engagement and social justice through its cultural events. After hundreds of events in Lebanon, the region and with international partners, Station is now recognized as one of the leading platforms for progressive experiences in the Swana region.
In 2022, Station launches SHURUQ MUSIC to nurture talent, strengthen local ecosystems and amplify Swana music productions worldwide. Shuruq offers artist development, content production, music marketing and booking services. Shuruq Sessions are distributed on all DSPs and the Shuruq Music channel on YouTube.
Nabil is a board member of Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich, a member of the artistic committee of the Biennale of Contemporary Arab Photography in Paris and a founding member of the Leila Alaoui Foundation in Marrakech. He is a regular guest at art and music forums, and has sat on jury committees for, most recently, the Visa For Music Festival (Morocco) and Fête de la Musique (Lebanon).
