A fervent advocate of musical development in the Antilles, Maïté is particularly active in Guadeloupe, where her commitment to local talent knows no bounds. Starting her career in events management in the early 2000s, she moved into radio and TV journalism, before developing a passion for music law and intellectual property.
This passion led her to found LAKAZAWTIS in 2020, an association dedicated to social cohesion in Guadeloupe, promoting access to the law, equal opportunities and the fight against the digital divide for local artists.
Active in the field, Maïté uses her expertise in Marketing Strategy and Music Business to train and raise awareness among young people in the Priority Neighborhoods of her department, aiming to open the doors to success in the music industry. Her main objective is to harness her knowledge and energy to serve creators, with a particular focus on local action in Guadeloupe, in order to create an environment conducive to artistic fulfillment and the development of skills essential to success in the music business.
