A long-time guitarist/author/composer, in 2004 Juan Tamayo joined the French subsidiary of publisher Chrysalis Music as head of "synchro", becoming the company's general manager in 2007.
In 2011, Juan joins Wagram, for whom he creates the Alva label with the aim of developing exclusively French-speaking artists. Although the adventure was short-lived, Alva helped Cali make a comeback with the critically and publicly acclaimed album "Vernet les Bains".
Since 2017, he has held the position of Senior Artistic Director at the French subsidiary of publisher Budde Music Group.
Juan Tamayo is co-president of the EIFEIL federation.
