Jérôme Payette is the Executive Director of APEM, the association that represents Quebec and Francophone music publishers in Canada. He is a member of the Executive of the Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, the Board of Directors of MetaMusic, and the Coalition for Canadian Music Policy.
His career has taken him to UNESCO, the Orchestre symphonique de Laval and to consulting in the cultural sector. He holds a master's degree in management and a postgraduate degree in management of cultural organizations from HEC Montréal and a bachelor's degree in jazz performance from the Université de Montréal.
