Jérôme Payette is Executive Director of APEM, the association representing Quebec and French-language music publishers in Canada. He is Vice-Chairman of the Canadian Coalition for the Diversity of Cultural Expressions, a member of the Board of Directors of MétaMusique and of Canada's major music industry coalitions.
His career has taken him to UNESCO, the Orchestre symphonique de Laval and consulting in the cultural sector. He holds a master's degree in management and a DESS in management of cultural organizations from HEC Montréal, and a bachelor's degree in jazz performance from Université de Montréal.
