A French-English graduate of SciencesPo Paris, Emily Gonneau founded Unicum Music (2009), her own artist management, label & publishing company, after 4 years as a major in London & Paris, then Nüagency (2013), a digital strategy agency (Web2 and Web3) specializing in music and culture, and Causa (2023), a modern agora where mature words and free ideas flow around music, innovation and commitment.
Author of the book "L'Artiste le Numérique et la Musique" published by the Centre National de la Musique (CNM), she was Associate Professor at the Sorbonne for 10 years.
Emily Gonneau is also a member of the CNM Innovation Commission and programmer of MaMA Invent (all conferences dedicated to innovation at MaMA Music & Convention). She is one of the Innovatrices France 2022 of the international Keychange program, which recognizes the most innovative female professionals in the music industry.
Last but not least, she is founder and president of La Nouvelle Onde and #PrixLNO (a scheme to support and highlight young music professionals under 30), co-founder of Change de disque (an association fighting discrimination and VHSS in the French music industry) and of the Social Music Awards (rewarding the most creative and innovative digital strategies and content in the music industry).
