Jun Ha "Chris" Kim (professionally known as CVRE) is a Canadian music producer, A&R editor, songwriter, sound designer and multi-instrumentalist. Best known for his work on Justin Bieber's singles "Get Me" (feat. Kehlani) and "Freedom" (feat. BEAM), where he was featured as producer, songwriter and backing vocalist. He has mentored and worked alongside Adam Feeney (f/k/a Frank Dukes) and Martin "Doc" McKinney. Since then, Chris' work has been featured on releases by many major artists, including Kanye West, Juice WRLD, Don Toliver, Russ, Koffee and many others.
In addition to music production, he has spent a lot of time working on virtual instruments for Frank Dukes and continues to be interested in new tools and processes for creatives.
With roots in teaching music production and practical music theory to new producers, Chris has stepped into mentoring and support roles, currently serving as A&R at Kilometre Music Group and co-founding Prototype Creative Agency where he manages and helps develop a handful of creatives. Through his musical work, executive producing and mentoring, Chris has helped numerous Canadian artists, producers and songwriters launch and develop their careers.
