Compagnie architecture experiments with projects that allow us to develop an adjusted and joyful approach, considering that it is possible to design and build differently, by putting the human dimension back at the heart of our practice. Encountering and enhancing the value of end-users, and listening attentively to the client's requirements, are the primary raw materials of our projects, offering a level of care adapted to everyone.
Sensitive re-use of existing materials and re-purposing, taking into account the human, landscape, built and sensitive "déjà-là", are favored, integrating a commitment to the preservation of life, the use of geo- and bio-sourced materials and putting matter where it is needed. Compagnie likes to design architecture that is pragmatic, expressive, colorful and responsible.
The agency strives to develop a work process enriched by cross-disciplinary practices: designing with models, "inhabiting" projects through architectural or urban visits, opening up worksites, sharing through festive events, and transmitting through editorial projects.
The company's projects include new buildings, renovations, urban projects and scenography: SMAC Le Krakatoa in Mérignac, Halles de la Cartoucherie and their performance hall in Toulouse, SMAC Le Quai M in La Roche-sur-Yon, Frida Kahlo school group in Bruges, Château du Domaine de Longchamp for the Goodplanet Foundation in Paris, scenography for the show Habiter n'est pas dormir by cie Volubilis.
