Benjamin holds a master's degree in musicology from Sorbonne University, and began his career as artistic director in charge of talent scouting for the Naïve label.
Currently, he coordinates the Pôle création artistique at FGO-Barbara and Les Trois Baudets - two cultural establishments owned by the City of Paris - where he implements programs to support young artists and emerging talents in contemporary music. These initiatives include Variation(s), the Prix Cécile Pollet, Coups de Cœur, Bootcamps and Sessions d'écoute, which offer young talents unique opportunities to develop their projects. Benjamin has also launched fOCUS, a series of meetings focusing on current music creation and the music business, with over thirty conferences, bringing together students, professionals and artists to discuss contemporary issues in the sector.
Finally, his work is part of a more global reflection on the challenges of artistic creation in contemporary music today, and on the importance of supporting the emergence of new talent.
