For several years now, MaMA has been offering "Focus" events to showcase news and players from various international markets. After welcoming Colombia, Japan, Portugal, China and South Africa, among others, the 2023 edition of MaMA will focus on Canada.
For the past few years, MaMA has been hosting "Ma Cabane à Paname", an operation carried out in collaboration with our Quebec partners, and which has been a resounding success. Building on this success, this year MaMA is offering a "Focus" that will bring together English-speaking and French-speaking Canadian professionals to better understand this huge market and its specific characteristics.
Through this "Focus Canada" and the many activities organized this year, the aim is to promote Canadian musical talent and strengthen artistic and professional exchanges between Canada, France and the rest of the world.
On the Convention side, two debates will discuss trends and issues in the Canadian music industry, as well as opportunities for international collaboration and development.
