Fairly Score
In 2024, MaMA has teamed up with Fairly, an innovative company that has designed a revolutionary tool to measure and display the economic, social and environmental impact of events. This tool, called Fairly Scoreworks in a similar way to the Nutri-Score, but focuses on assessing the carbon footprint of activities. Thanks to this initiative, event organizers can now draw up a complete and transparent carbon balance sheet, enabling the public to become more aware of the environmental issues associated with each event.
For this first year of application, MaMA has undertaken an impact study of its activities at the FGO-Barbarafocusing on three key areas: CO2 emissions, environmental impact, and economic and social dimensions.
In 2025, MaMA plans to expand the calculation of its Fairly Score to the Trois Baudetsreinforcing its commitment to sustainability and transparency. This extension will make it possible to assess the impact of new activities and encourage collective awareness of environmental issues.
SGBV
Every year, the SAFER association is present at the MaMA Convention to provide information on its measures to raise awareness of sexist and sexual violence and harassment.
On the Music side, a charter of good conduct is posted in the various concert venues, and a VHSS referent is appointed within the team in case of need.
MaMA's teams have also been trained by the Consentis association on consent and the reception of VHSS victims.
Hearing risks
Accredited professionals have the opportunity to make molded plugs, thanks to the renewed presence of the Earcare association in the FGO-Barbara hall. In addition, Thalie Santé offers free hearing tests.
Kiosks for the distribution of free foam earplugs are also available at concert entrances for festival-goers.
Representation and Parity
MaMA's artistic programming strives to be exemplary in terms of parity, and each year presents 50 to 52% of projects whose leads are female or led by non-binary people. In the Convention section, 56% of panelists were women in 2024.
University partnerships
For several years now, MaMA has been partnering with universities (Université Lumière Lyon 2, IESA, EICAR, ICART, Sorbonne Université and LFI) to offer their students a first immersion in the music industry through a work experience at the festival.
La Nouvelle Onde
La Nouvelle Onde is an initiative launched in partnership with CNM and MaMA in 2018, aimed at highlighting, showcasing and networking the rising generation of music industry professionals in France, the New Wave of music business.

In 2025, MaMA will also offer a student rate, to remain accessible to the new generation of professionals.
Belleville Citoyenne
