Formé fin 2017, le groupe passe une année à chercher son identité et constituer son line up.
En Janvier 2020, Black Bile dévoile son premier EP: « The Substance », enregistré et mixé par Ben Lesous au studio B-Blast Records, et masterisé au studio Much Luv par Tim de Gieter. Quatre titres doom/occult rock captivants, qui fondent l’univers poétique et tourmenté du projet.
En Janvier 2022, un second guitariste rejoint la formation pour servir une musique plus contemplative, évoluant vers le post-metal. Deux mois plus tard, les enregistrements du premier album démarrent, de nouveau aux côtés de Ben Lesous. « L’Oratoire » sortira en Octobre 2023 en co-production avec
Frozen Records et Code Records.
