After a career in humanitarian aid and regional planning, Ophélie created Le Wip in 2016, a cultural, circular and civic third-place in a former industrial wasteland near Caen. She co-founded the regional network of third places in Normandy and became administrator of the Association Nationale des Tiers-Lieux (ANTL) in 2019. In September 2023, she became Managing Director of ANTL, which brings together over 300 third places, regional networks and thematic national networks, notably on cultural issues. The association lobbies for third-party venues to be better taken into account in public policies, and develops national collective projects for the development of third-party venues. Ophélie is also a board member of 2 street art and object theater companies in Normandy.
