Francesca Trainini began her career in London, where she gained valuable experience working for Virgin Music and Chrysalis. During her time in the UK, she acquired in-depth knowledge of the music industry and honed her skills in various aspects of music publishing and management.
Returning to Italy in the late 1980s, Francesca founded and managed Oyez Srl, a company she successfully ran for several years. Her entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to the music industry paved the way for her current role as Managing Director of peermusic Italy and Peer Southern Productions. In this capacity, she also represents peermusic on the SIAE advisory board, bringing her expertise to bear on shaping the future of music rights management in Italy.
Francesca's passion for the publishing industry is evident in her active participation in several leading trade associations and organizations. She is President of IMPALA, the leading organization representing independent music companies in Europe. She is also actively involved in Italian and international organizations, including PMI Italia, IMPF and FEM. Through her work with these groups, she strives to defend the rights and interests of music publishers and creators, thus promoting a fairer and more dynamic music industry.
